The Sondern Jean is a new take on our favourite Tovi Jean cut. Boasting a wide leg and high-rise waist with two feature patch front pockets, adding a vintage appeal. This jean offers versatility with a modern edge. Crafted with a slight stretch for flexibility, it maintains impeccable shape and structure throughout wear.

These jeans were made by SAITEX, a pioneer in the denim industry for leading social and environmental practices.

Material

98% Regenerative Cotton 2% Elastane.

Made in a cotton and elastane blend, this lightweight denim offers a slight structure with a comfortable fit. The elastane provides some stretch, while also adding retention that allows for these jeans to keep their shape.

The cotton in this garment has been grown using regenerative practices. Regenerative agriculture takes a holistic approach to protecting and improving biodiversity, responsibly managing water use, maintaining healthy waterways, and improving soil health.

Maker

Established in 2001, Saitex is a pioneer in the denim industry for leading environmental and social practices. In 2022, Saitex was awarded B-Corp’s Best for the World in Environment, recognizing their consideration of their everyday footprint, including energy usage, materials, facilities and supply chain. 
With a focus on circularity, Saitex work with a closed loop process for water use, allowing for 98% of water to be recycled back into their systems with 2% evaporation, resulting in zero waste.

Saitex are engaged with Better Work Vietnam to monitor their social compliance and worker wellbeing, and have received a High Performance rating in 2024. 

Size and Fit

A regular fit jean with wide leg, back darts for neat tailored fit at back fit at back.
We recommend taking your regular size.

Denim is sized in halves to help you find the perfect fit. These will soften slightly with wear.

The key fit points to check for size are the waist, hip, front/back rise and the leg length.

All garments are measured flat (not on body) and then doubled (except the length) to calculate the total circumference. To work out what size will suit you best, flat measure an item that fits you well and use this as a guide. Please contact us if you have any questions or need more information.

Please note the Indigo Wash colourway has a slightly larger hip measurement (2.2cm) than the below Indigo Wash measurements, as the washing process affects the two fabrics differently.
